With the 40th Anniversary Gold Edition, Squier now celebrates the occasion appropriately by offering fans and collectors a unique selection of instruments that feature exciting color finishes, gold-anodized pickguards and luxurious gold hardware. Fender takes it a step further with specially designed FenderAlnico single coils to give the peices their authentic voice.
The Gold Edition of the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster showcases a gold-anodized pickguard, fine gold hardware and genuine Fender Designed Alnico single coils.

The body of the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Gold Edition LRL Sherwood Green Metallic is made of Nyatoh wood and features the original Tele shaping of the originals. All the hardware such a the 3-saddle strings-through-body Telecaster bridge, pickguard andcontrol plate and associated knob caps have a uniform, gold-anodized finish, indicating the Gold Edition of this anniversary series. The bolt-on maple neck has a C-profile, providing a classic Fender feeling when licks and riffs go off without a hitch on the 21-fret fretboard made of Indian Laurel. Equipped for sound amplication are two Fender Designed Alnico Single Coils, which produce with their Alnico V magnets authentic Tele sounds with that characteristically emphasized twang for which this model has been celebrated for decade after decade.
