The 6equencer 3U from Tubbutec is a trigger sequencer for drum modules inspired by the Roland TR-606. Accent provides a total of eight trigger outputs, which can also be used as a MIDI to trigger interface thanks to the MIDI inputs. The MIDI outputs allow the module to act as a MIDI sequencer. 16 patterns can be stored and recalled and chained together in song mode. Besides the style-defining method of programming the drums in the TR-Mode the Tap Mode is also offered for input. Alternate playback directions, clock divider and programmable trigger probability round out the functionality of this versatile drum sequencer. On the back of the module there is a link connector to connect another 6equencer. The second 6equencer can be assigned to run in parallel to provide another eight tracks or in series for twice as long patterns (32 steps).
This is a great little eurorack sequencer module when you have limited space in your Eurorack case. I prefer this to the intellijel Steppy because it it has two tracks and the arrangement of jack inputs are better placed to trigger and collection of drum modules.
Minor cons. It can be a little tricky with the limited space but that's to be expected with the limited space. It'd be great if they had two function buttons to switch between modes (like in the Steppy) so you don't have to hold shift while accessing secondary function.
For the price, hp space and functionality though, this module is great.
