Tascam DR-44WLB

The Tascam DR-44WLB is an innovative 4-track handheld recorder. The special highlight of the recorder are the extensive WLAN functions. These allow, among other things, full remote control, streaming output and file transfer via smartphone or computer. The built-in stereo condenser microphone with shock-absorbing suspension already ensures very balanced recordings in most situations. And should the built-in microphones not meet the current requirements, there are 2 microphone preamps available for connecting any microphone. And to round off the positive overall picture of the Tascam DR-44WLB, the high-quality A/D and D/A converters from Cirrus Logic should also be mentioned, which provide a great sound.

Multitrack recording

With four independent recording tracks, a built-in mixer with reverb effect and the ability to create intermediate mixes (bounce function), the DR-44WLB offers the possibility to create true multitrack recordings. Record two tracks simultaneously in two different formats (WAV/MP3) or with two different level settings.

Remote control via wireless LAN

The Tascam DR-44WLB establishes its own wireless LAN network that allows you to control the recorder remotely without touching the recorder usinga free app. Since the range of the wireless network is about 20 meters, you can use the recorder in places that would normally be unthinkable. Using the app, you can not only start and stop recording, but also control and adjust input levels using your iOS or Android device.

Everything to do with recording can be done over Wi-Fi.
