The Tascam MM-2D-E Dante Converter is a small yet robust unit which converts 2-channel mic/line input/output signals into Dante format, with the help of 4x Dante input signals which can be output to 4x line output channels. The sampling rate converters support resolutions up to 96kHz/24-bit and therefore serve high pro-audio standards. DSP features such as mixing functions, sound processing, dynamic processing, automatic level control, auto ducking routing, noise compensation and mute functions are also included.
As a part of the Dante Compact Processor Series, the MM-2D-E is perfect for Dante/AES67 networks, making it suitable for public facilities, broadcast stations, recording studios or exclusive residential environments, while additional inputs and outputs for Mic/Line or AES/EBU signals can be added and combined as desired.
Also included are 2x different software applications for MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android to remotely control ML-4D/OUT. Both the DCP Connect software (for configuration) and the EZ Connect app for end users are easy to use. All Dante Compact Processor Series models can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or an optional AC adaptor. With 2x devices mounted side by side in a rack, it is possible to loop the power supply through to the second device so that only one AC adaptor is required.
