The Tascam TM-60 is a lightweight condenser microphone that requires no phantom power but is powered by a single AA battery. This makes this microphone ideal for mobile recording with handheld recorders, mobile interfaces or port studios. Its wide frequency range and cardioid characteristic make it suitable for recording virtually any sound source from vocals to instruments.
Features of the TM-60:
Condenser microphone for precise detection of sound sources with high resolution
Is equally suitable as a small diaphragm microphone for vocals and instruments
Cardioid polar pattern is ideal for single sound sources such as vocals, acoustic guitar, wind instruments and others
Requires only one battery - ideal for mobile recording where phantom power would reduce system uptime
On/off switch prevents feedback or unwanted noises and protects the battery when not in use
Perfect for handheld recorders, mobile interfaces and port studios
Included in delivery:

The TM-60 uses a single AA battery as power supply, which is inserted into the microphone. This means that the recorder does not need to supply phantom power and the microphone does not load the recorder's battery. To extend battery life, you can turn off the microphone when not in use.
