The Blues EZX includes two complete drum kits from different decades. One is from the 1970s, while the second Set with calfskin covering comes from the 1940s and reflects the authentic vintage sound of that era. The Library is complemented by a collection of modern cymbals, a sampled case as a percussion instrument and a Set made of calfskin tambourines.
Each instrument was personally selected by the sampling drummer and recorded with great attention to detail. The drummer, a seasoned blues musician himself, brings decades of experience and the spirit of the genre to every beat.
Recorded in a Swedish theater - mixed with high-end equipment
The drums were recorded in an empty theater in Sweden, whose unique acoustics perfectly emphasize the warm, intimatesound. The recordings were then mixed in a high-end studio using a combination of vintage and modern outboard equipment to ensure exceptional sound quality.
