The Yamaha Clavinova CLP-545 PE is an 88-note digital home piano featuring NWX keys and RGE features.

The CLP-545 features a full size 88-note keyboard with a spring-free hammer action mechanism derived from the same hammer action found in grand pianos, with a heavy touch in the bass register to a progressively lighter touch in the upper register, this system also features escapement that creates the subtle clicking sensation near towards the end of the keys travel.

The CLP-545 features Natural Wood X (NWX) keys, wood is used for the white keys and these are topped with a synthetic ivory to provide a realistic ivory look and feel, the is synthetic material is made from an absorbent substance providing superb playability even after hours of extended playing time.

The sound of the CLP-545 is based on a Yamaha CFX concert grand piano and a Bösendorfer imperial grand piano, both of which have been expertly tuned and per note sampled for this Clavinova. The three sensor system accurately picks up the keyboards behaviour and allows for excellent replication of these exquisite piano sounds.

The CLP-545 features an easy to read dot matrix LCD display for easy programming and navigation of menus plus a two-way speaker system to provide a precise sound at all playback levels.
