The Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 V3 is the third generation of the popular modelling combos from the ID:Core series. With its revised amp and effect simulations in super-wide stereo and expanded connection peripherals, it is ideally suited for practising and recording at home. Accordingly, six amp simulations and the most popular guitar effects are provided for shaping your own guitar sound, while the Infinite Shape feature switches from British to American tone voicing with just one control.

The ID:Core Stereo V3's headphone jack also features CAB RIG speaker simulation for a natural sound experience, while the combined line-in and streaming port makes it easy to stream your performance to the internet. Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 V3 is also equipped with a USB audio interface for convenient home recording to PC or Mac. Furthermore, there is a USB port for connecting to the free Blackstar Architect editing software and firmware updates.

Amp and effect simulations in ultra-wide stereo

At the heart of the Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 V3 is a super-wide stereo setup with two 5" speakers and two times ten watts of power, which delivers a surprisingly powerful sound with a broad range. Six distinctive amp simulations form the basis for varied guitar sounds, ranging from crystal-clear cleans to creamy crunch and overdrive to juicy high-gain distortion. The ISF control, characteristic of Blackstar amps, allows the tone to be adjusted. In addition, the handy modelling combo offers the most popular modulation, reverb and delay effects in outstanding studio quality, which are shown to their best advantage in the stereo panorama. Once found, sounds can also be stored in one of six memory locations.

Headphone jack, audio interface and streaming option

With its extensive connections, the ID:Core Stereo 20 V3 from Blackstar also turns out to be the ideal sound centre for the home recording and streaming studio. The headphone jack features the CAB Rig speaker simulation, which guarantees a natural sound experience even when practising quietly. While the integrated USB audio interface enables convenient home recording on a PC or Mac with low latency, the amp can be connected directly to a smartphone or tablet via TRRS jack cable and streaming output to transmit the session live to the internet.

Blackstar Architect Software

Last but not least, the Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 20 V3's USB socket allows connection to the free Blackstar Architect software, whose in-depth editing options make it possible to adapt the amp and effect simulations to your own ideas. In addition, the simulated microphones and speakers of the CAB RIG speaker simulation can be adjusted.
