The Fender American Elite Stratocaster EB CHP Champagne is a 6-string electric guitar, with an alder body, a maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, 4th Generation Noiseless single-coil pickups, chrome hardware, and a champagne finish. The American Elite Stratocaster Series from Fender is set of innovative instruments that meld together traditional style with modern sound and features. This guitar is a progressive instrument for 21st-century musicians, and designed for guitar players who demand much from their equipment.
The 4th Generation Noiseless pickups are only available with the American Elite Stratocaster Series and represent a leap in pickup design by combining vintage sound with an effectively noise-free performance. These are the pinnacle of Fender’s noiseless pickup designs, offering pristine cleans and fat, overdriven tones that scream with power.
Designed for the fast guitar player who seeks effortless position changes, this guitar features a compound profile neck that is ideal for all playing styles. This neck is composed of a modern “C”-shape at the nut, with the profile morphing along the length of the neck to a modern “D”-shaped profile at the updated neck heel, providing plenty of comfortable support for fret hand antics. Locking, all short-post tuning machines provide buzz-free performances thanks to an increased break angle at the nut. The smooth two-point modern tremolo adds emotive and complex touches to your performance without affecting your tuning.
The main features of the Fender American Elite Stratocaster EB CHP Champagne include:
The guitar has the looks and sound of a more expensive instrument. It arrived fast in "ready to play" setup. I enjoy mostly the modern hybrid C/D neck which allows for a good balance between feel and speed. Switching between my older very thin Ibanez Wizard neck to this Strat has been quick and comfortable. The locking tuners keep it surprisingly in tune even when abusing the non-locking tremolo. The electronics of this Elite series offer many possibilities and when combined with a nice tube amp of a similar price range, this guitar can cover many musical styles. Overall an excellent, highly recommended choice!
