The Gibson SG Faded T 2017 Electric Guitar WB Worn Brown is a 6-string model featuring a maple neck, a mahogany back, a rosewood fretboard, and a worn brown finish. This range of SG Faded T guitars are new for 2017 and features woods and characteristics that have been meticulously crafted by Gibson. When this SG is played it feels as if the players’ hands have shaped it, making it an ideal fit.
This new SG Faded T offers a combination of iconic style and modern characteristics. A pair of humbucker pickups (490R and 490T) are equipped with Alnico magnets that produce the historic SG sound, which is enhanced by an ease of play across a slim-taper neck with a thicker rosewood fingerboard that makes it simple to solo fast. This fingerboard is adorned with 22 polished frets and acrylic dot inlays.
A faded gloss finish gives each guitar an authentic vintage worn appearance. This faded look gives each guitar an appearance of being weathered from decades of performances. A padded gigbag is included along with a strap and a polishing cloth to help your keep your guitar is good condition.
