Viktor Kosenko is considered one of the most influential piano teachers in his home country, Ukraine. A composer, teacher and pianist, he contributed significantly to the development of his country's national piano school. His original combinations of late romanticism and modernism in the compositional style of major and minor tonality is basically the subject of piano education. In his short life of only 42 years, he created about 250 compositions, including 100 piano pieces.
