Singlecut electric guitar with maple top and Alnico humbuckers
The J & D LC300 WhiteSinglecut guitar with adapted body shaping impressively presents the familiar feel and the sought-after sounds of the prototype. For this, the classic electric guitar was equipped with two Alnico humbuckers, whose Alnico blend evokes characterful sounds of the fifties. Also, the beefy 'C' neck profile provides enough wood for a secure hand rest when playing chords and bends, while solid Hardware with TOM-style bridge and Stopbar and vintage tuners are responsible for tuning stability and resonant sound transmission.
J & D LC300 with customized body contours and gold finish hardware.
The J & D LC300 features two Alnico humbuckers with gold cover and traditional electronics layout.
Humbucker pickup with Alnico magnets
The two humbuckers of the LC300 White used for long conversion were manufactured according to a classic recipe and feature the same Alnico magnet mix that was used in the first humbuckers of the mid-fifties. Combined with a moderate coil winding, these pickups are therefore ready for any fun from clear cleans of jazz to warm Blues crunch to high gain sounds of hard rock and metal. Both pickups are switched via a 3-way toggle switch.
Kluson-style tuning machines guarantee stable and smooth tunings.
Solid gold hardware
Even the attachments of the J & D LC300 electric guitar are modeled after the original. Accordingly, the body of this Singlecut features a classic tune-o-matic style bridge, whose six individual string saddles can be individually adjusted for each string and guide the strings to the aluminum Stopbar. At the headstock, on the other hand, six Kluson Vintage-style tuners not only ensure tuning stability, but also the appropriate appearance of this classic thanks to matching gold-finish wings.
Guitar was very badly set up on arrival even though it had been qc checked bridge was so low the e and a string was more or less lying on the fretboard. Some binding is badly done. Frets need smoothing but for the price can't grumble. Far better looking than harley benton models. Sounds great. I will purchase another
To add to this I had to reace the nut hence the strings on the fretboard. The low e and a were cut so far down it was unreal.

For the price you get a genuinely well crafted guitar, the Les Paul Custom look is done very well and apart from a few sharp fret ends and high frets it feels and sounds great.

Great price/perf ratio with minor flaws and tweaks needed.
Great LP style guitar, punching well above epiphone at this price range with the same classic sound and looks. Recommended for intermediate users who are experienced with tweaking and adjusting their guitars.
Pros: Great LP humbucker sound Fretwork is acceptable, no sharp frets edges. Finish is good, but with minor blemishes
Cons:
Fret tops were scratchy, needs to polishing works. Nut needs lubrication. Neck relief needs adjustment. Minor finish blemishes on bindings and headstock
Nice-looking and good quality instrument fo the money: paintjob is good, tuners ok etc. Maybe pickups lacking some character but they are not bad either. And the biggest surprise is that intonation is perfect (after some arrangements) all over the fretboard regarding my item which is not ordinary even in 1000€ priceclass!
