With its time-honored construction, the Ramirez Guitarra del Tiempo Spruce is a testament to traditional Spanish guitar craftsmanship and captivates with a unique sound full of character. The fully solid concert guitar is equipped with selected tonewoods that are devotedly matched to each other. Thus, the instrument develops an exceptionally transparent sound that fades out long-lasting in the overtones. The wide fretboard offers the player a remarkable amount of space in all 18 frets, so that even complex fingerings can be played cleanly. This is further aided by the pronounced 'D' profile of the neck. Gold classical tuners are set into the headstock, allowing precise tuning of the strings and perfectly blending into the overall appearance. Visually, the guitar is rounded off by elaborate inlay work and, last but not least, the noble high-gloss finish. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy case.
In order for the guitar to produce a balanced sound, the top is made of spruce. The fine-grained wood enriches each note with a clear note, which is clearly noticeable in the mid and treble frequencies. The Indian rosewood body complements the overall picture with expressive bass frequencies that create an extensive soundstage. Meanwhile, the cedar neck provides a comfortable feel and accommodates the player very well with its wide ebony fingerboard.
A compensated saddle and a 53 mm wide nut made of bone ensure clean intonation over the entire scale length of 650 mm. At the same time, the golden tuners guarantee precise tuning of the 6 nylon strings, which are knotted to a rosewood bridge. The top is surrounded by a mosaic-like binding, which is lovingly matched to the extensive soundhole rosette and the support of the bridge, and which tastefully emphasizes the even grain of the installed woods.
