The LR Baggs Anthem Acoustic Guitar Pickup is an acoustic guitar pickup system featuring a "Tru-Mic" and Element pick up. The Award-winning Anthem series, featuring LR Baggs' TRU-MIC technology, combines a proprietary condenser microphone with the Element pickup to deliver the warmth and fidelity of a studio-mic’d guitar anywhere you perform. At the heart of the Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture a dynamic studio-mic’d sound for any live performance. The TRU-MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers just 3mm above its surface to take advantage of the PZM or “boundary” effect.
This proprietary mounting system, combined with noise cancellation, frees the mic to perform as if it were outside of the guitar in a studio and maintain feedback suppression for the stage. The result is a balanced frequency response with excellent clarity for the purest sound you have ever heard amplified. The Element pickup was paired with the TRU-MIC to provide solidity and punch for low frequencies.The Anthem has all of the essential tools in one complete system. The feather-weight preamp and controls include volume, mix, phase and a battery check.

L.R.Baggs Anthem The pickup does an amazing job of bringing out the authentic sound of an acoustic guitar through a PA system or amp. Installation is a little challenging: two pickups, the input jack, battery pouch and pre-amp, but the results are worth the effort. If you are not satisfied with the amplified sound of your guitar, you can't go wrong with this pickup system.
This is the best pickup available if you are serious over hearing what your guitar sounds acoustically when you're plugged in to a sound system. Feedback resistance is great, you have Volume / tone / Microphone controls and an adjust for the gain of the microphone.
I installed the LR Baggs Anthem on my Margin 000RS1 and in my opinion it sounds just great.
Price and service from DV247 were also outstanding. Great pickup sold by a great reputable business with 3 year warranty - win win.
Well worth the investment if you are serious about getting the most realistic tone available for your acoustic guitar in an amplified setting.
I opted for a professional luthier to fit the unit and he charged me £50, so altogether a quite expensive option but well worth the money now I have heard the results! Definitely recommend this pre amp and DV247 have the best price out there :-)

The battery check LEDs are helpful for peace of mind and the phase inversion button is a nice addition, too.
