The metal connectors might generate some ground noise.. but if your system is grounded.. it will do its job even in a professional environment. solid built! i step on the cable over and over again and it doesnt budget from the sockets :P
The cable is actually OK, no problems with the craftsmanship. And I actually believe they work just the same as some other high-priced cable do. For home studios these cables are just OK.
The 2m cable is thicker than the 1m cable. So they do care about the production quality as I see.
