All-tube amplifier for electric bass with 200 watts and 3-band tone control
With the Orange AD200 MKIII Head, the British cult company sends a puristic all valve amp for electric bass into the race, with which the first-class sound experience is in the foreground.
Analog Tube Circuitry with Direct Sound
The AD200 MKIII's analog tube circuitry uses the shortest possible signal paths to guarantee a pristine and fast-responding Bass sound with a deep low end and creamy midrange. Depending on the position of the gain knob, a wide range of sounds can be elicited from the AD200, from a mellow soul sound to crunchy slap grooves and juicy overdrive growl. A classic 3-band tone stack is also available to customize the Bass sound.
200 watts of power
In the power amplifier of the AD200 MKIII Head from Orange, four 6550 tubes provide maximum power reserves. Up to 200 watts promise bloodcurdling volumes that will push every groove into the pit of your stomach with force. In addition to the three classic jack sockets for connecting bass cabinets with 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm impedance, the AD200 MKII is also equipped with a line-level slave-out for connecting additional power amplifiers or mixing consoles for direct pickup.
