Exclusive WoodLibrary woods
For the construction of the German Limited Edition Custom 24, the luthiers at PRS choose exclusive woods from the Wood library that combine a unique look with vibrant tonal characteristics. The one-piece body made of light swamp ash carries a two-piece 10-top made of "Dirty Flame Maple" with exceptionally characterful grain. The glued maple neck is also fitted with a 24 fret Ziricote fingerboard with elegant J-Bird Inlays made of abalone and paua marking the courses. The pleasantly flat "Pattern Thin" neck profile also promises agile playing characteristics, so that both classic and modern playing techniques can be implemented with ease.
PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers together with the PRS 5-way circuitry provide a versatile sound spectrum with a pleasant vintage character.

The pickups on the Custom 24 WoodLibrary German Limited Edition are the extremely popular PRS 58/15 LT Low Turns humbuckers with elegant nickel caps. Due to the reduced number of windings of the coils and the moderate Output the pickups react sensitively to the playing style and deliver a warm vintage tone at the guitar amplifier, which is ideally suited for glassy cleans and singing Overdrive. The typical 5-way circuit with general controls for Volume and tone also elicits rich timbres from the electric Gitarre.

Of course, the perfectly matched PRS Hardware in the noble hybrid Finish of nickel and gold completes the Custom 24 WoodLibrary German Limited Edition. The PRS Gen III tremolo not only allows an optimal adjustment of the intonation, but also convinces with a pleasantly smooth handling. The carefully rounded surfaces also provide a comfortable rest for the heel of the hand during palm mutes. The headstock also features PRS Phase III locking tuners for a stable and precise Tuning even when frequently reaching for the vibrato lever.
