The PRS DGT Birds Amber Smokeburst electric guitar is the result of a long-standing collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and the busy session guitarist David Grissom, who has appeared as a sideman with the Dixie Chicks and Allman Brothers Band, among others. Carrying the genes of the coveted PRS McCarty, the PRS DGT features a mahogany body with flamed maple top and a glued mahogany neck in the bold but comfortable "DGT" profile. Two PRS DGT humbuckers, specially tuned to David Grissom's tonal preferences, deliver top-class vintage sounds, whose métier is lively clean and overdrive sounds between country, blues and rock. Thanks to the coil split option, the PRS DGT guitar also delivers first-class coil sounds with high transparency and lively dynamics.
