The consideration was: a "real" piano it should be in principle - but this is sometimes too loud. "Silent pianos" are already available - but not everyone wants to play with headphones when there is a need for silence in the house - so you have to be able to hear and regulate a good piano sound without having to use headphones, amplifiers and loudspeakers.
Yamaha's latest development (TransAcoustic™) covers all these features - a normal acoustic piano that can be muted if required and the (digital) piano sound can then be adjusted in volume as with a stereo system, without the need for amplifiers and speakers in the piano.
This is made possible by two transducers that transmit the digital sound signal (i.e. the selected grand piano sound) to the soundboard; as a result, the acoustic, natural string resonances and pedal effects of the piano are interwoven with the digital sound and therefore sound extremely realistic, spatial and lively. And as a result, the feel of the keys, action and pedals is fully preserved, unlike the D- piano.
Yamaha now offers all successful piano models of the U-series with the TransAcoustic equipment: U1 TransAcoustic TA2, YUS1 TransAcoustic TA2, YUS3 TransAcoustic TA2, YUS5 TransAcoustic TA2.
There are 19 high-quality sounds to choose from (in addition to the beautiful acoustic sound of the piano itself, of course) (various grand piano, upright piano, harpsichord, organ, D piano and string sounds), which you can also connect to computers or recording devices if you wish, and which you can conveniently control with a free app.
In addition, you can, for example, add a little string sound to the "real" piano sound, which results in a nice orchestral sound effect.
Your perfect introduction to playing the piano! When you purchase the keyboard, you will receive 3 months of premium access to the learning app flowkey worth €38.99 as a gift - with no further obligations. Flowkey is an exciting app to learn to play the piano intuitively.
