The Zoom A1X FOUR is an innovative multi-effects unit that not only provides acoustic guitars with first-class effects in studio quality, but traditional string and wind instruments as well. Up to five of the more than 90 integrated effect, amplifier, speaker and microphone simulations, which are specifically tailored to the characteristics of acoustic instruments, can be used simultaneously. The integrated expression pedal even allows certain effects to be manipulated in real time. Furthermore the Zoom A1X FOUR offers an integrated looper with up to 30 seconds recording time and a drum computer with 68 rhythms of the most popular unplugged styles for varied practice and creation of your own songs. For miking acoustic instruments, the Zoom A1X FOUR comes with the external Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp, which works with both dynamic and condenser microphones.
Special modelling for acoustic guitars
Specifically for acoustic guitars, the Zoom A1X FOUR provides models of various guitar types, giving your favourite guitar the sonic character of the most legendary instruments between dreadnought and parlor. The use of Impulse Responses (IR) guarantees a particularly natural sound experience, whereas a 3-band equaliser allows for precise tuning of the tone.
ZoomA1X FOUR with extensive effects for acoustic instruments
Furthermore the Zoom A1X FOUR provides an extensive effects library for all acoustic guitars and string or wind instruments, which has been specially adapted to their characteristic sound characteristics. Accordingly, more than 90 effects from the areas of drive, modulation, filter and dynamics offer the possibility of adapting the sound to one's own ideas or even completely alienating it. The practical expression pedal of the Zoom A1X FOUR allows you to control certain effect parameters in real time. Via the USB port, the A1X FOUR also connects to the freeZoom Guitar Lab software for loading additional effects or for precise fine-tuning.
Looper and drum computer
For varied practice or the creation of your own songs, the Zoom A1X FOUR offers an integrated loop recorder, which with up to 30 seconds recording time and CD quality allows you to layer different patterns. In addition, there is a practical drum computer with 68 rhythm patterns of the most popular unplugged styles, including samba and jazz.
