The Spire Music Recorder app and Spire Studio are compatible with 64-bit iOS devices capable of running iOS 13 or later. This includes the devices listed below, as well as all neweriPad and iPhone models.

The Spire Studio Controller app for Android must be connected to Spire Studio hardware. It is officially tested and supported on Samsung Galaxy S Series devices (S8 and above) and Google Pixel 3 or newer. We are not aware of any issues with devices running Android 8.0 or higher. The app for Android does not currently offer any features in standalone mode.

The second generation wireless and rechargeable Spire Studio is the perfect solution for recording and editing vocals and instruments at a high quality sound level on the go, at home, at a friend's house or wherever you are. Import beats, layer vocals over them, and record eg. Record your guitar on top. Mix up to 8 tracks with Spire Studio 2 - no complicated computers, expensive microphones or studio space required.

Soundcheck - Leveling Made Easy

Everyone knows it: You have a song idea and want to record it as quickly as possible so that it doesn't get forgotten. But then technology comes into play and valuable time is lost. Spire Studio 2's Soundcheck feature takes care of this by leveling up your song on its own, while an internal equalizer optimizes the sound of your voice or instrument.

Working creatively with effects

Effects like Monster Heat, Encore and Bright Voice take your vocal recordings to the next level in no time at all. The range of creative audio effects is constantly growing and helps you turn ideas into something really special. Naturally, Spire also has something for guitars, keyboards, basses or drum machines: Benefit from a whole range of amp and pedal effects that you can use for your projects at any time.

Intuitive editing

Easily trim tracks via the app to clean up a project before starting the mix. Simply select the parts you want to delete, and the audio you don't need disappears with the press of a button.

Mixing with the Visual Mixer

The Visual Mixer is just as intuitive. With its help, you won't get lost between too many functions and controls. With simple movements you can adjust the volume or change the panorama of the signals. The Wide feature of iZotope's award-winning Ozone Imager makes it easy to make tracks sound big and wide. "Narrow," on the other hand, narrows the stereo image for a more focused sound. If you used the Soundcheck feature before recording, the app automatically selects the best stereo width depending on the audio.

Collaborations via Cloud

If you love working with other producers, songwriters and artists on a song, you'll love sharing via the cloud. Import tracks from other producers and add your own vocals. Then simply send the project link back via text message or email and your partners can download the vocal tracks and continue working in a DAW. You can also send the link so that someone else can listen to the song and make their own notes. Mix Notes lets you annotate and comment on specific parts of a song.
