The AKG C 414 XL II is built around the first and famous C 414 B-TL II, the C414 XL II boasts cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art components, as well as years of AKG heritage and excellence. The C414 XL II was designed to be a multi purpose recording microphone, meeting the demands of vocal artists and recording musicians.

The C414 XL II from AKG features nine selectable pickup patterns, three switchable different bass cut filters, three pre-attenuation levels, Lock mode and Peak hold LED diplay. The design of the C414 XLII allows it to be used for close miking and distant. The capsule fitted in the C414XL 2 has been given a slight boost in presence for even more clarity and unique sonic signature.
