Aodyo Instruments Sylphyo is the first wireless controller that can be played like a real wind instrument.
Breathtaking expressiveness:
The patented Air-Column technology opens up an impressive dynamic range and precise control. Gesticulated expressiveness is possible thanks to a slider that is directly attached to the thumb, which allows any parameter to be steplessly controlled via vertical movements of the thumb, achieving an unprecedented expressiveness.
Traditional fingering:
If you already play another wind instrument, you will get along with Sylphyo in no time at all. The fingering is based on the arrangement of a recorder. Other fingering such as clarinet and saxophone can be selected.
Integrated synthesizer:
The Aodyo Instruments Sylphyo has an integrated synthesizer, which is perfectly adapted to the advantages of the controller and makes it a full-fledged, expressive instrument. The different sounds can be easily selected via the integrated display. The Sylphyo can be connected directly to headphones, or wireless controllers can be used to send data to the separately available Link receiver, which can be connected to a stereo system.
Simple operation:
You want to calibrate the Sylphyo, transpose the semitones, or switch the grip techniques? These changes are fixed with just a few keys!
After pressing the Aydyo key, sub-functions can be addressed, which are shown on the display and changed via the octave switches. Transposition, note played, volume, performance parameters, MIDI channel and battery level are always readable.
Wireless connection to the computer:
The separately available Link receiver allows you to play with Sylphyo without the tiresome cables that restrict your freedom of movement. Controllers send data to Link via radio and the sound engine, which is identical to the synthesizer voice built into the Sylphyo, generates the sound. The transmitter is already installed in the device. The sounds of the Sylphyo can be heard without a link via the headphone output and the controller data can be sent directly to the computer via USB.
Aodyo Instruments is also announcing a series of updates in the coming months that will expand the functionality and number of sounds.
