Designed to complement the LYD series and other Dynaudio Pro studio monitors (including the classic BM series), the Dynaudio 9S subwoofer is designed to deliver an astonishing 300 watts of power despite its compact size, ensuring precision and musicality for the demanding professional studio work even at high volumes. With a powerful and tight bass response, it relieves the main monitors - they can now concentrate on reproducing the frequency range above 50 to 150 Hz (depending on the selected setting of the crossover) The long-throw driver can reproduce the lowest frequencies accurately - down to 22 Hz. The low-pass cut-off frequency adjustable from 50 to 150 Hz and the low-power LFE output allow flexible use in a wide variety of studio environments.
Features of the Dynaudio S9:
Frequency response: 22 to 175 Hz ±3 dB
Max. Sound pressure level 1m half space (CEA-2010): 106 dB (Flat)
I just got this 9S sub to use with with a pair of Yamaha HS8 to extend the low frequencies.
I could instantly listen to accuracy and precision, very well even below 25Hz, frequencies I could barely hear at all before.
The cut off frequency switches are great and I was amazed how nicely the sub kicks in accurately when the cut off frequency is reached.
Also I like this sub very much because I have been weeks looking for a small sized sub due to limitations in space where it needed to be fitted. And I am amazed how well it performs. It has a big sound for such as compact size. Amazing frequency response for a really good price.
Highly recommend this sub, excellent price / performance ratio, period!
The guidance and knogledge you recieve from the sales team match the expectation of the product I bought. I have bought many products from Dv247 and never been let down.
