With the EMG ALX HOB Alexi Laiho 'Halo of Blood' set, EMG provides the songwriter, vocalist and fingerboard magician of the Finnish cult band Children of Bodom with a tailor-made pickup. Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho uses a combination of passive humbucker and an ABQ preamp including preamp output boost, which can be activated via push/pull potentiometer. The set comes with Alexi's preferred voicing, but can also be adjusted for individual resonance frequencies via three toggle switches.
