Battleship Gray Finish
With the EVH Wolfgang Standard Battleship Gray, Eddie van Halen presents a particularly chic interpretation of the Wolfgang electric guitar that offers many features of its significantly more expensive siblings at an extremely affordable price. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck that, with the typical "Wolfgang" profile and compound fingerboard radius, offers absolutely comfortable playability so that even the most virtuosic riffs and tapping orgies come off as if by magic. Two EVH Wolfgang humbuckers provide a burning sound at the guitar amplifier, which retains the contour even at the most extreme Distortion and precisely represents every note. naturally, the EVH Wolfgang Standard Battleship Gray is equipped with the Floyd Rose Special DoubleLocking tremolo, which takes even the most brute stakes of the Whammy Bar completely detune-free.
The EVH Wolfgang Standard Battleship Gray convinces with extremely hot sounds and an extremely high playing comfort.
EVH Wolfgang humbucker pickups
Two EVH Wolfgang humbuckers sit in neck and bridge position and provide a juicy sustain due to their direct mounting on the body. The black Volume and Tone controls are set to Van Halen's exact specifications and promise individual tone control. Furthermore, the Wolfgang Standard is equipped with an R2 locking nut and a Floyd Rose locking tremolo, which provides high tonal stability.
Slim design Wolfgang standard maple neck
The bolt-on maple neck with dark roastedmaplefingerboard invites fast playing over 22 frets. The extra flat Wolfgang backshape of the neck fits comfortably in the hand and offers enough flexibility and clearance, which is supported by the 12" to 16" compound radius.
Couldn’t be happier with the Wolfgang standard. Nothing needs to be upgraded, the pickups are exceptional, as good as my Duncan’s in other guitar. The fit and finish is perfect, the floyd is durable, the build is solid. I love the quilted top. The headstock looks a bit odd but the functionality of it is flawless. The neck is smooth and fast, like a fender but with a compound radius board which is a joy to play. I’ve barely put it down, I bought it as a decent backup to my main Strat but it is quite clearly becoming my number one, I just love playing it and it sounds perfect. The next model up is twice as much but comes with stainless steel frets and is built in a more costly factory. If I had the money for the higher end model I would be torn between buying that or two of the standard, genuinely it’s a gig ready tool which doesn’t look as fancy as some guitars but is far more playable than any I’ve tried.

WOW, Blown away! I have had many guitars over 28 years of playing, i own some expensive guitars, NONE play as well as this! ....and it's straight out the box, all i have done is tune it. and it will only get better with time. for the price paid and quick delivery i can't fault dv247.com great work guys and an amazing product. (might as well sell my Stratocaster and Les Pauls) I'll come back and use your service again when i can afford a Wolfgang USA Stripe.

My first professional guitar and i love it, feels great, sounds great, the bridge is floating a bit in E standard and sits in E flat, the jack socket is very tight and strong, it looks small but the neck is actually 1,5cm longer than my other guitar so a little bit hard to reach everything at the moment :)
My problems so far is when i opened the package the locking nut parts just fell off, maybe they were just shaken out during the delivery i dont know but miraculously they didn't scratch the guitar. I had a ground issue in my apartment and it seems the guitar bridge ground is disconnected from the jack and pickup switch. And there is an oil spill like dirty dot in the back of the neck which is a little bit annoying...
