The Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s Bigsby Ebony presents the best features of the early Les Paul models as they were built in the legendary Fifties. This solidbody electric guitar with authentic body and neck shaping and two classically wired ProBucker pickups skillfully reproduces both the sound and playability of a Fifties Paul and offers an incomparable LP feeling at an unbeatable price. Last but not least, Epiphone gives every Les Paul Standard '50s Bigsby Ebony a matching Epiphone Gigbag with backpack straps, large accessory compartment and embroidered Epiphone logo.
With its two Epiphone ProBucker pickups and a Bigsby B-700 vibrato, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s Bigsby Ebony is a true rock machine.
Epiphone ProBucker pickups
Creamy rock sounds, expressive cleans and multi-faceted sound options are the clear strengths of the two Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers. While the Epiphone ProBucker-1 in the neck position shines with its reduced Output for a particularly wide dynamic range, which is ideal for differentiated Chords and expressive lead playing, the Epiphone ProBucker-2 in the bridge position provides a little more steam for clear, penetrating riffs from rock to high-gain metal. Both pickups have separate volume and tone controls.
LockTone hardware & Bigsby vibrato
The absolute highlight of the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s Bigsby Ebony is the eponymous Bigsby B-700vibrato. The vibrato system, which is specially tailored to solidbody electric guitars with a curved top like the Les Paul, is installed behind the LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge, which is firmly anchored in the body, and allows the use of shimmering vibrato sounds for a real vintage feel. The hardware equipment of the Epiphone Les Paul Standard '50s Bigsby Ebony is completed by six Epiphone VintageDeluxe tuning machines with classic Keystone wings.
