The Eurolite QuickDMX USB radio transmitter/receiver is used for wireless transmission of DMX512 signals. The device is very compact and user-friendly; the complete technology is housed in a USB plug. The device is designed as a transceiver, i.e. it can be used both as a transmitter and as a receiver. The use of the QuickDMX USB radio transmitter/receiver from Eurolite eliminates the need for complex cabling between DMX-controlled devices.
Thanks to GFSK technology (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying), interference-free operation is also possible alongside Bluetooth and WLAN. When transmitting, 78 frequencies in the 2.4 GHz range are switched and only those frequencies are jumped that are not already used by other devices.
A QuickDMX USB radio transmitter transmits up to 512 DMX channels. 6 transmitters can be operated simultaneously so that 3072 DMX channels can be controlled. The range is up to 400m. The system operates in the ISM band in the range of 2.4 GHZ and is generally approved for operation in the EU and EFTA states and is free of registration and fees.
The device requires an operating voltage of 5 V DC, which is provided by phantom power from compatible Eurolite devices with QuickDMX jacks.
