Black Limba & Cloud Maple
The anniversary edition of the Fame Forum IV Modern features a slimly designed body made of Black Limba, which is finished with a solid, stunningly grained Wölkchen Maple top. Black Limba is considered an extremely popular tonewood due to its excellent resonance characteristics and mid-range warm tonal qualities, while the solid top contributes to the overtone-rich vibration response and is guaranteed to draw interested looks with its sculptural dome grain combined with a tasteful Dark Cherry Sunburst High gloss finish.
Only for a short time the Fame Forum IV Modern is available as a limited edition for the 50th anniversary of MUSIC STORE Cologne!
Both the body and the neck of the Fame Forum IV Modern Highgloss 50th Anniversary Dark Cherry Burst are made of Black Limba and impress with a contrasting and intense grain.
Slim D neck with ebony fingerboard
The neck of the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary is also made of Black Limba and features its proven D-profile, a perfect basis for implementing the most delicate playing techniques on the 24-fret fretboard made of the finest ebony. The slim neck foot and the iconic wide Cutaways of the Forum design provide ideal accessibility to the highest fingerboard positions, and the entire range of the instrument can be easily accessed.
Only on the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Fame Forum IV Modern, both Seymour Duncan USA humbuckers are in zebra look.
Seymour Duncan USA humbucker in zebra look
Only for the special model Fame donates two real Seymour Duncan humbucker from US production with a refreshing zebra look. In the bridge position, a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker is at work, which is considered an absolute classic for steamy sounds of blues, rock and metal and shines with high output, well-resolving mids and a good reproduction of the treble spectrum. At the neck, the Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz provides the appropriate complement to give the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary a warm and vocal tone for singing leads and characterful crunch. Both pickups can furthermore be switched into coil split mode to create classic single coil sounds.
Inside the GraphTech Ghost Loaded ResoMax bridge sits a piezo pickup system that also knows how to elicit clear, airy acoustic tones from the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary.
GraphTech Ghost ResoMax bridge with piezo pickup.
If you want to go beyond the diverse sounds of the two magnetic pickups, you can turn to a high-quality piezo pickup system integrated into the GraphTech Ghost Loaded ResoMax bridge. The push/pull function of the Volume knob activates the piezo pickup to provide airy, clear sounds that are ideal for transparent and high-resolution Pickings and classic acoustic sounds. The rear blend control allows the sound of the piezo pickup to be continuously added to the magnetic pickup mix.
Six high-quality Japanese-made Gotoh tuners ensure absolute tuning stability in all positions thanks to their locking function.
High-quality Gotoh tuners
Completing the Fame Forum IV Modern Highgloss 50th Anniversary Dark Cherry Burst are six tuners from Japanese quality manufacturer Gotoh. These have a back locking function that uses a knurled screw on the back to clamp the string in the winding axis. This not only ensures particularly fast string changes with fewer windings on the individual axles but also outstanding tuning stability, which is achieved after the first note played.
