The F-Andango of the Fame Handpan comes with the following notes: F3/ G3, G#3, C4, D#4, F4, G4, G#4, C5. The meditative, soothing tone can be used for therapy purposes as well as meditation. Fame stainless steel handpan with nine tones
Sound structure with nine tones: Handpan Four from Fame in 440 Hz
The central keynote of Handpans lies in the middle, surrounded by a circular chorus of sound fields. The individual playing surfaces are under compressive stress, these are tuned in elaborate manual work in 440 Hz. If the sound surfaces are now briefly struck with the finger, the entire Handpan is brought into vibration and a linear, spherical tone with singing sustain is created.
Detailed quality check by our handpan expert
Like all Fame Handpans, each Handpan Three is checked for workmanship and sound quality before delivery, and finally given our seal of quality. As these are instruments with a high percentage of handwork, slight color deviations compared to the product image are possible.
The technique to play a handpan is comparatively simple to learn: The playing surface is struck briefly with the fingertip, the faster the hand is then pulled away, the more beautiful the resulting sound. Further steps to learn how to play the handpan are shown by our product specialist Christian aka "Mister Handpan" in his tutorials on the MUSIC STORE Youtube Channel.
At a more affordable price than most handpans its good for those with lower budgets and interested beginners however the quality is excellent so shouldn't put off professional players either. Comes with a good bag, one review mentioned the shoulder straps were too short to wear as a rucksack however I found it fits fine and at 6" reckon it would fit most people fine. Overall a great product.

The sound and tone is excellent, very easy to pick up and play quickly without prior experience. I picked it up very quickly, looks beautiful also. The only knock is the back pack carry case it comes with, the back straps are not long enough to be at all useable, you can't actually use it and have to hold the handle to carry it. Apart from that, all excellent, there were a few slight marks to the finish, but overal that makes no difference to the tone
