With the Gibson Les Paul Studio 2019 Lefthand, the traditional manufacturer offers a true workhorse especially for players who focus on sound and playability. Two Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers deliver tight sounds with powerful output and their separate push/pull potentiometers also offer coil tapping for classic P-90 soundscapes in neck and bridge position. The correct feeling of the left hand is provided by the glued mahogany neck in the famous slim Slim Taper profile, whose 22-flush rosewood fingerboard has cryogenically treated fret wires and thus much more resistant fret crowns. Gibson's Les Paul Studio 2019 comes in a robust Gibson Hardshell Case.

I have noticed one minor issue with this Les Paul but this does not detract from the very good finish overall...it seems Gibson are genuinely stepping up with the quality. Needs setting up but this is not uncommon (with any manufacturer). As with all American made guitars they are expensive however 'American Made' has a cashe that people will pay a premium for...including myself! Gibson are not perfect in the same way as say Taylor, but quality is much much better (In my opinion).

This is a wonderful piece of machinery. Wonderful looks, beautiful sound and even smells amazing. I was afraid that the sunburst would be a bit more reddish for my appetite, but actually it has a wonderful warm cognac/honey accent which makes it a classic. The setup of the guitar was exactly how I wanted it, didn't need to adjust anything. Considering that it comes with a hard-case and additional accessories (the photo from the factory is a nice touch!) makes it a great bargain at this price level. Excellent product and delivery service.
