Lap steel guitar with 28 frets and Gretsch single coil Mahogany body Plastic fingerboard with 28 frets Circle, Triangle, Square & Diamond fingerboard inlays 572 mm scale length (22,5") Aluminum nut, 47,6 mm wide Gretsch Single Coil Volume and Tone controls Chrome bar bridge Broadway Jade high gloss finish The Gretsch G5700 Electromatic Lap Steel Broadway Jade evokes the distinctive sounds of the Hawaiian guitar and proves to be a highly versatile blues, country and western swing instrument. The six-string lap-played instrument features a slim mahogany body for superior playability and a 28-fret plastic fingerboard that provides the ideal overview of all positions with its triangles, circles, squares and diamonds decorated Inlays . For sound conversion, a Gretsch Single Coil is located just in front of the Chrome Bar Bridge, controlled in classic fashion by a Volume knob for volume control and a Tone knob for treble attenuation.
The Gretsch G5700 Electromatic Lap Steel Broadway Jade is the instrument of choice for authentic country, blues and western swing lap steel sounds.
