3 Working views

There are three views in Sample Tank 4: Play, Mix and Edit. The Play view offers the familiar view with the browser on the left and the content with the basic parameters on the right. The Mix view is modeled on that of a digital mixer, in which each individual instrument track can be assigned up to 30 effects. SampleTank 4 itself also contains numerous effects that produce professional results. These include essential candidates for sound design such as modulations, delays, filters and distortion, but also preamp emulations, compressors, guitar amps and reverberation chambers intended for professional mixing. The Edit view, on the other hand, gives the user the opportunity to modify any sample or instrument with SampleTank's own software synthesizer.

The sound

SampleTank 4 is a very user-friendly software for creating mixes, accompaniments or solos. However, you might think that with the huge scope that SampleTank offers, the sound or sample quality could be neglected - but you'd be wrong. Each of the 6000 instruments is carefully recorded and even emulates the articulations of stringed instruments, for example. This provides extremely extensive and, above all, high-quality content, which is also very easy to use for beginners thanks to the MIDI patterns and Loops.
