This controller comes with Akai’s Virtual Instrument Player (V.I.P) 3.0 software, offering universal compatibility with VST plug-ins from any MIDI controller and fluid, intuitive creative workflow for musicians, engineers and producers. VIP 3.0 allows any user to catalogue, control and map their entire VST collection to the MIDI controller of their choosing, whilst 3rd party developers have the option to create their own maps for greater integration going forward.

The M-Audio Code 25 BK is a 25-key USB/MIDI keyboard controller featuring 16 trigger pads, five faders, five buttons, four knobs, an XY pad, and comes in black. The Code Series offers a thoughtful design that enables you to create and perform to your potential through an all-new keybed with clean, and precise action. The natural profile keys are both velocity- and pressure-sensitive, for maximum expressivity.

Code controllers are equipped with everything you need to produce some serious musical creations. Extensive assignable parameter control is easy with multiple banks of faders, knobs, buttons, pads, and a smooth feeling pitch bend and modulation wheel on top. The X/Y Touchpad provides additional and direct interaction with effects and instrument plugin parameters across an X/Y axis. The keyboard can be split into four assignable zones to maximise the flexibility and functionality of your setup.

For an easy-to-use and portable setup, this Code controller is USB-powered, class-compliant and supports USB-MIDI connectivity. Sixteen assignable RGB backlit velocity sensitive drum pads indicate exactly what function any particular pad is assigned to. The buttons, knobs and faders are also colour-coded to indicate what mode they are in. An alphanumeric LED display provides informative feedback including on-screen display of parameters and settings.
