The XDJ-RX is a combination of 2 CDJ decks, a high performance mixer and a central full colour display with double waveform display. The rekordbox compatible all-in-one DJ system also features two USB players, allowing you to connect additional CDJs and/or turntables and can also be used as a stand-alone mixer. The entire signal processing for player and mixer is concentrated in a single shared digital chip. Distortions are reduced to a minimum to deliver flawless, punchy beats.
The license key of the software is closely linked to the hardware and can only be registered once! Since the software cannot be transferred to a new buyer, we cannot grant the usual 30-day right of return after your registration of rekordbox DJ. The 7-inch LCD display shows all the information from the two players simultaneously, including the output position, BPM and beat grids. It also allows you to quickly browse and select music, with easy access to cover images and hot cue info for each track.
The mixer section offers four high-quality Sound-Colour FX and eight Beat FX, including the very popular Spiral FX from the DJM-900NXS. The XDJ-RX can also be used as a 2-channel stand-alone mixer thanks to its two mic inputs, a network connection and a variety of other inputs and outputs.
The two CDJ-style turntables feature the familiar club-standard layout and give DJs instant access to professional features such as beat sync, slip mode and quantized cues and loops.
The XDJ-RX offers four additional controllers: the sensitive pads. These allow you to trigger hot cues, set auto-beat loops and slice loops with the new Loop Slice function.
The two USB ports give DJs the ability to record their performance even while simultaneously playing back output.
Tracks can be loaded directly into the XDJ via a rekordbox USB memory, iPhone, iPod touch or Android smartphone. If you prepare your tracks with rekordbox or use the rekordbox app, a lot of advanced performance features become available.
The USB port on the back serves as a MIDI connection, so the XDJ can also be used as a controller for other DJ software.
Pioneer DJ XDJ-RXI bought this to avoid spending 6k in a full mixing and CDj setup. Iwas using full analog mixing tables until this year. I am mostly using vinyls and when I use mp3s it is always from a usb stick. So why would we pay for the hardware of the CD player?
The operability is great, you almost feel like you are using the top of the Pioneer equipment. The sound quality is perfect and you can record your sets in just on click. It works like a charm with your turntables and you get these famous Pioneer effects. Everything in one piece of equipment, that is GREAT!!
I bought this controller, and i feel extremely happy about it, because it emulates everything a CDJ2000NX does and also a DJM900, so for a cheaper price you have a really nice set up to do everything you need to play like a professional. The material is high quality and the handling is very similar to the top decks and mixers. The 7.inch screen is just what you need to play your set with out even needing a laptop, so to everyone whos thinking buying a controller, just buy this one.For me is the best one available in the market
