The SPL Phonitor One d offers audiophile sound quality and the innovative speaker matrix from the large Phonitor series with infinitely variable crosstalk - and by its reduced range of functions and the renunciation of SPL's 120V technology at an unprecedented price. The quality of the components, on the other hand, has not been compromised in any way: 2 highly-bred Burr-Brown OPA2134 operational amplifiers with extremely short response times provide increased vividness and openness of imaging, noble gold electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic and an elaborately designed DC decoupling significantly improve the treble imaging. The power amplifier is designed in Class AB circuitry and provides sufficient power even for headphones with 600 Ohm impedance. The power supply is able to provide supply voltages of 34V for the preamplifier and 38V for the power amplifier despite a standard 12V wall wart and has sufficient current reserves for low-impedance headphones thanks to the output buffer. Accordingly, Phonitor One d provides you with a reduced and targeted way to enjoy your music in reference quality.
Compared to its little brother, the Phonitor One d also features a high-quality DA converter that can be controlled via USB. In addition, the converted signal can be played out with him via a pair of TRS jacks.
