Modern 7-string guitar with powerful sound and agile playing characteristics.
As a modern designed electric guitar, the Schecter C-7 Blackjack Gloss Black presents itself as the ideal instrument for tight riffing and virtuoso solos with contemporary metal sounds. Based on the proven set-neck construction with mahogany body and neck, the Schecter offers excellent playing characteristics thanks to its "Thin C" profile and compound radius, while the extended 26.5" scale length (673 mm) supports the tight sound. Two Lundgren M7 humbuckers also provide adequate high-gain Distortion with razor-sharp representation of every note played. Professional Hardware in the form of a TonePros Locking bridge and tuning stable Locking tuners completes the C7 Blackjack guitar from Schecter.
The Schecter C-7 Blackjack Gloss Black is a modern 7-string guitar with a long scale.
The smooth transition between the body and neck of the C-7 Blackjack guarantees unobstructed access to the higher registers.
Long scale length and premium handling
The construction of the Schecter C-7 Blackjack pays special attention to a precise sound character and a first-class handling for the complex playing techniques of modern metal. The set-neck design with mahogany neck extending deep into the body and the increased string tension of the long 26.5" scale length (673 mm) promise a powerful sound and a clean representation of every note even at low tunings. While the flat "Thin C" neck profile and the compound fretboard radius of the ebony fingerboard promise agile playing characteristics up to the highest registers, the stainless steel fretting in extra jumbo format lets bendings glide like on rails.
Lundgren M7 humbuckers provide modern metal sounds with tight and punchy representation of every note.
Lundgren pickups
To elicit contemporary metal sounds from the guitar amp, Schecter equips the C-7 Blackjack with two Lundgren M7 humbuckers. Despite their enormous Outputs, the top-class ceramic pickups from Sweden convince with an extremely tight sound that brings any notes and chords to the ear with rich punch and razor-sharp precision, even with drop tunings and maximum distortion. Thanks to the coil split option, glassy clean sounds for mellow passages are also part of the seven-string electric guitar's repertoire. The pickups are controlled by their own volume knobs and a general treble control.
Precise locking tuners keep the strings of the Schecter C-7 securely in the correct tuning.
Reliable hardware equipment
Last but not least, Schecter Guitars completes the C-7 Blackjack Gloss Black with a high-quality hardware setup that also meets professional needs at Studio and on stage. The TonePros TP7 Locking Tune-O-Matic, which can be locked firmly on its pins and behind which the strings are guided through the body for increased contact pressure, not only supports the guitar's tight tonal character, but also ensures precise adjustment of intonation and string action when using thick string sets. On the headstock, a GraphTech Black TUSQ XL nut and Schecter Locking tun ers also ensure precise tuning with unshakable stability.
