Sennheiser HMD 300 Pro

The Sennheiser HMD 300 Pro is a professional headset including a dynamic, noise-compensated super cardioid microphone for broadcast and live productions. Thanks to its pressure-sensitive design, it is extremely comfortable to wear, even during hours of use. In combination with the detailed sound, excellent speech intelligibility, switchable hearing protection and effective external noise insulation, it leaves nothing to be desired for professionals.

Extraordinary Comfort
Sennheiser's focus with the HMD 300 Pro was clearly on wearing comfort, in order to relieve users of the strain even in continuous use. The mechanical design generates only minimal pressure, which is evenly distributed over the viscoelastic ear cushions and the soft padding of the headband. In addition, there is a recess in the headband padding that protects the pressure-sensitive fontanelle. This makes the headphones an inconspicuous companion even during long sessions.

Transparency & Detail
In addition to comfort, sound is naturally the top priority, which is why highly sensitive transducers with precision membranes reproduce input signals crystal clear and distortion-free. The acoustic elements consistently deliver maximum intelligibility even in demanding environments. Practically, the ActiveGard is also on board, which can be activated as required and reduces volumes above 110 dB.
Assertiveness is also an important factor in the built-in dynamic microphone, which is why a super cardioid characteristic was used. Sideways arriving sound is effectively attenuated, so that the detailed sound of the speaker comes to the fore.

Interference Influences
The broadcasting sector is often characterised by acoustically demanding conditions, which is why it is important to reliably suppress disturbing influences. The HMD 300 Pro scores with its external sound attenuation thanks to visco-elastic ear cushions, which also reduce structure-borne noise. This reduction is also supported by the elastic mounting of the microphone capsule and the winding of the cable directly under the listener.
