Vintage beech wood shell set from Sonor - Made in Germany.
The Sonor Vintage Three22 Shells NM RSG Rosewood Semi Gloss includes a three-piece shell set made of beech wood, manufactured in Germany. Consisting of a 13 "x8" tom, a 16 "x14" floor tom and a 22 "x14" Bass drum, it offers classic dimensions and excellent vintage looks. The shells are made of nine layers of beech and are constructed using the "CLTF"(Cross Laminated Tension Free) stress-free process. For Sonor's perfect Vintage sound, the round shell burr is combined with single-ply Remo heads. The Sonor Teardrop heads have their model in the sixties, but they are equipped with modern Tune Safe technology.
The Vintage Series shells: Rosewood Semi Gloss
The shells of the Sonor Vintage Series Three 22 WM are glued together from a total of 9 layers of beech wood using the "CLTF" process (Cross Laminated Tension Free) to create a perfect instrument. This results in a total thickness of 6 mm, a first-class prerequisite for excellent sound and perfect feel. Despite the low wall thickness, Sonor beech shells do not require additional reinforcing rings. The round burr of the Vintage shells ensures maximum head-to-shell contact, which improves the transfer of vibrations to the shell and facilitates tuning. The sound also gets an extra portion of warmth, clarity and a short sustain.
