Squier Classic Vibe '50s Precision Bass MN (2-Colour Sunburst)

The bass arrived set up well, I lowered the pickup and fitted a set of daddario flatwounds. The pickup is good and delivers that deep fiddling bass tone, with good midrange and treble. It sounded big and fat through my Ampeg rig. It's very versatile and can be used in rock, ska and reggae. Visually the bass looks great and it is much lighter than my other Indonesian squier jazz bass. The neck is lovely, especially for players with smaller hands like me. The bridge and tuning legs are solid enough for £322 this bass is well worth the money.

I bought this bass to hang on the wall as a replica for the first electric bass. So, to be honest I only did the purchase for fun, I never expected to play this bass, since I'm really happy with my other American Fender basses.
But this bass is wonderful! It's crafted beautiful, the colors are nice, the neck is steady, the frets are fine polished and rounded up around the edges of the neck. The sound is like you would expect and played over a tube Ampeg, it really is a great sounding bass. For this money, the bass is now more off then on the wall.
