The Precision Bass - Traditional construction with reliable features
The Precision bass developed by Fender in 1951 was not only the first mass-produced electric bass ever, but also a reliable model that, except for minor details, basically hasn't changed much to this day, which is why it can't be missing from the new Squire Sonic Series, of course. The body of the Squier Sonic Precision Bass MN California Blue is made ofpoplar, with a screwed solidmapleneck, which promises fantastic playing characteristics over 20 frets and high wearing comfort. Through its Split single coil pickup with Volume and Tone control, the P-Bass from Squier offers a wide sound spectrum with Fender typical bass sound. Furthermore, a hardtail bridge with four string tracers and open vintage tuners are responsible for precise intonation.

The Squier Sonic Series
The Squier Sonic Series brings popular Fender instruments into the hands of beginners looking for quality at an affordable price, provides inspiration for advanced instrumentalists, and expands the Squier concept of making the Fender catalog available to everyone. With new finishes in fresh and familiar colors, the Sonic Series electric guitars and basses offer excellent value for money.
I got this guitar in the fender sonic range (one below the affinity versions) I was expecting lots of rough edges and a possible compromise in overall finish, I was wrong. The only real givaway is the single ply pick guard which can be swapped out. The neck in maple feels slick and comfortable to use. The california blue color is really attractive. The bass is strung through the bridge rather than body which is the cost cutting option. The sound is perfectly acceptable considering the price of £149 delivered to the UK. In terms of customer service I was astonished how quickly my guitar got from Germany to the UK in flawless condition. The shop has inspected the item before shipping and has a certificate of inspection present, very good, most places like Amazon just shove a box out in the post and hope for the best but I was extremely happy with the attention and care shown for a budget product. I would hapilly use the seller again. hopefully I win a prize!
