Solid oak and cedar create a powerful sound.
Solid tonewoods
The Takamine Santa Fe LTD2023 30th Anniversary LTD owes its punchy sound to its solid oak body, while the similarly solid cedar top provides a soft, warm colouration to the sound. furthermore, cedar unfolds its fully mature sound after only a short playing-in period, making it conveniently ready for the stage and recording studio immediately after purchase. Meanwhile, a silky touch is created by Takamine's custom-designed Nex body, which is in some ways a more compact Jumbo and provides ideal support for vocal parts.
A cutaway allows access to the high registers as well.
Slim mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.
With a nut width of 42.5 mm, the easy-grip mahogany neck with acceptable weight fits perfectly in the hand and is made for powerful strumming and masterful flatpicking. The fretting hand glides over the smooth, velvety ebony fingerboard as if by magic, enabling lightning-fast chord changes and note sequences. Even the very high positions can be played without any problems because a generous cutaway offers enough space to reach all 21 frets comfortably. Perfect intonation is guaranteed by the characteristic split bridge inlay, while gold-plated die-cast tuners reliably keep the tuning.
The preamp has numerous setting options.
CTF-2N Preamp: the "Brownie".
The CTF-2N preamp is a reissue of the in-house "Brownie" preamp, which was developed to complement the Palathetic bridge pickup. With its outstandingly warm and completely natural sound, this model even inspires legends like Jackson Brown, Bruce Springsteen and many more. The Preamp features a notch filter, a 3-Band-Equalizer for adjusting bass, treble and volume, as well as an integrated tuner for an always tone-assured performance. At the same time, the design retains the vintage design of its predecessor and thus also makes the electronics of the Takamine Santa Fe LTD2023 30th Anniversary LTD look absolutely elegant.
Beautiful Native-American style inlays give the guitar a traditional polish.
Traditional design
The acoustic guitar also scores points all along the line in terms of its design. It's natural high-gloss finish skilfully highlights the tight grain of the woods and gives it the time-honoured acoustic look, which is particularly appealing to the nostalgic among guitarists. In addition, it definitely doesn't skimp on visual highlights in the form of Native-American symbols, which give it its very own message in addition to an attractive appearance. Turquoise rosette and Bindings are complemented by symbolic Turquoise inlays. For example, the "Broken Arrow" is a symbol of peace in Native American history, while the "Crossed Arrow" in the 12th fret stands for friendship and definitely draws some eyeballs.
