Engl E651 Artist Edition 100 Blackout

The Engl E651 Artist Edition Blackout 100W is a 2-channel Tube Amplifier Head and a black version of the popular E651, which was originally reserved for a small handful of exquisite superstar musicians. This 100W tube amplifier combines 2x channels with sophisticated circuitry and a straightforward operating concept to become the perfect supplier of high quality classic rock sounds.

Outstanding Sound
The circuitry of the Engl E651 is based on the legendary Ritchie Blackmore Signature Head, but has been tuned with EL34 tubes and changes at key points in the signal path. The E651 delivers an authentic rock sound with enormous assertiveness and a British midrange character. The Clean Channel delivers a crystal-clear reproduction and high dynamics, whilst the Lead Channel provides the right sounds for singing leads and driving riffs. In addition to the 3-band tone control, which is perfectly tuned to both channels, a Bright switch for the treble character of the Clean channel and a Shape switch, which determines the middle structure of both channels, are also available. The Engl E651 Artist Edition Blackout also features a gain switch that affects the overdrive behaviour of both channels.

Extensive Stage-Ready Features
The Engl Artist Edition Blackout is equipped with an Engl noise-gate, which provides pleasant peace and quiet during breaks even at the highest gain settings. In addition, a loop-in path for external effect devices is offered, whose wet/dry control determines the ratio of original signal to effect. The power amp also features 4x EL34 tubes for an impressive 100W of output power and sufficient volume reserves for every situation, from rehearsal rooms to large stages. In addition, 2x Master Volume controls can be used to set and recall 2x different settings, making it easy to fly from rhythm to lead sound.
