EoWave Portail Interface at a glance:
With Portail, EoWave presents a USB/MIDI to CV/Gate interface with 16 freely configurable outputs. The configuration is done primarily via USB using the online editor and in a reduced form on the module itself. Multiple configurations can be stored and recalled in the module; with the editor, practically unlimited configurations are available. Do you need eight monophonic CV/Gate outputs or the same outputs for a polyphonic Patch or even two quadrophonic patches? Maybe eight drum triggers with integrated or separate Velocity control? How about four voices each containing CV, gate, Velocity and a controller or Aftertouch? Clock and Reset for sequencer modules are also implemented. In each of the different modes it is possible to add filters like Gate Probability, Scale Quantiser etc. Thanks to the included MIDI-TRS adapter the module is also playable via hardware sequencers and MIDI keyboards.
