The Evans EC2 Clear SST 16" Batter TT16S is a 16" Tom Tom drum batter head. The EC2 features a Sound Shaping Technology ring mounted underneath two plies of 7mil film. By controlling edge vibration (instead of eliminating it), the ring isolates and damps higher overtones, enhancing low-end and attack, and enabling a broader tuning range.
All Evans heads feature the Level 360 Collar. This collar ensures a balanced contact around the bearing edge of the shell, making tuning an absolute breeze and enhancing the sound quality by allowing the head to better resonate though out your drum shell.

Evans EC2 Clear SST 16", TT16EC2S, Tom Batterexcellent product, the sound is very clear and more attack and sustain. Damping there is very effective when it comes to playing in very small rooms and few acoustic conditions. The tuning display gives no problems, very simple.
Everything was TOP. From handling to performance. It was an excellent Experience in everyway. This skin has a great playing performance from low to high strokes. TOP rated 4 sure. I advise every drummer to try it.
