The Fame FRBD-6BK Bass Drum Ring Black 6" is a self-adhesive hole reinforcement ring for the resonant head of the bass drum. It also acts as a template to cut the hole cleanly and without cracks in the Bass Drum. Simply stick the Fame FRBD-6BK Bass Drum ring Black 6" on the desired location on the soundboard and cut out the inside with a carpet knife. The edge of the hole is now reinforced and cannot be torn or frayed. A hole in the resonant skin is used to place a microphone in the Bass Drum. In addition, a hole in the reso fur creates an extremely focused and clean fundamental sound.
