The Fender Parallel Universe II Uptown Strat RW Static White is an exotic among the Stratocaster models designed for fat humbucker sounds. This instrument, introduced as part of the Parallel Universe II series, once again poses the question 'what if?' and presents itself as an extremely atypical but interesting representative of the Strat. With a shortened scale length of 628 mm and a one-piece mahogany '60s C-neck, the Uptown Strat offers unusually nimble handling and smooth bendings on the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5" radius. Two American Performer Series Custom DoubleTap humbuckers are used in the neck and bridge positions, producing extremely juicy sounds. The Uptown Strat also features separate controls for volume and tone for fine-tuning in the middle position. In terms of hardware, a synchronized 2-point tremolo system for reliable vibratos and six extremely tuning stable Fender ClassicGear tuners in classic Fender look provide the ultimate playing experience.
