Historically correct construction
To achieve the most authentic feel and sound of a 1959 Strat, the FenderCustom store relies on tradition-conscious manufacturing methods and carefully selected woods for the VintageCustom '59 Hardtail Strat. The body of the is accordingly made in two parts from alder, with the generous shapings at the front and back of the guitar to fit comfortably to the body. While the surprisingly slim "1959 D" profile of the bolt-on Riftsawn Maple neck fits comfortably in the hand, the rosewood fingerboard's vintage compound radius, which increases from 7.25" to 9.5", allows for easy chord fingering in the lower registers and trouble-free stringing in the higher registers.

Hand-Wound '59 Single Coils for Authentic Sounds
Three Custom Shop Hand -Wound '59 single coils are responsible for the electrical sound transformation of the VintageCustom'59 Hardtail Strat. The hand-made single coils based on historical models convince with authentic Vintage sounds that combine the typical Strat spank and a lively response, making the electric guitar a musical all-rounder for almost every genre between blues, funk and rock. The pickups of the '59 Hardtail Strat are also controlled via a historically correct 5-way circuit, which, in addition to the general master volume control, has its own tone pots for the neck and middle pickups.
Six vintage-style tuners keep the Vintage Custom '59 Hardtail Strat securely in the correct tuning.
