The Focal Alpha 80 studio monitor, has the largest footprint of the Alpha range and has been designed for the reproduction of bass rich musical styles

Utilising Focal's exclusive technologies the ALPHA 80 is composed of a 8” (21cm) woofer/ midrange speaker with a Polyglass cone loaded in a large laminar port and of a 1" (25mm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter. Optimum integration is achieved using a 40W amplifier for the tweeter and a 100W amplifier for the woofer, offering a frequency response of 35Hz to 22kHz (+/- 3dB)

The Alpha 80 is perfectly suited to all styles of music and Focal has used all of it's expertise to provide neutrality and dynamics while delivering high SPL. The design of the Alpha range aims to provide the user greater control of the full audio spectrum, in addition to greater control, Focal have used choice technologies to offer a high level of transparency which combined with the fatigue reducing inverted dome tweeters offer a tonal quality that is unrivalled at this price point.
