Here, the sweeping design of the poplar body provides optimal balance on the strap and thigh, while the full-length graphite-reinforced maple neck lets even tricky grooves come off with ease thanks to its "speed neck" profile and compound fingerboard radius. A beautiful poplar burl top also enhances the classy look of the four-string.
Pickups and Hardware
At the bass amp, split Jackson medium-output humbuckers not only provide extremely pushy bass tone with massive low end, but also transparent single-coil tones. For precise sound tuning, the Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX is also equipped with an active 3-band equalizer. For friends of traditional passive sounds, the EQ can be deactivated by pulling the volume knob.
